The MOT work is nearly done, but as usual there's a but!

The two larger diameter hydraulic lines that feed the two 'K' connectors at the back are also rotten and need replacing.

Martin at Plaedies can make them but I need to know the length.

Anyone got the measurements I need?

After this it's just the ball joint and she's back on the road.

Ta very much.

I can only see 2 larger pipes at the rear:

From the ABS block at the front to the splitter for the brakes: 4.5mm dia / 3420 mm long
To the anti sink sphere from a K splitter with only 2 pipes (or maybe 3 - perhaps this is where the brake feed comes from - see below!) - 4.5mm dia / 540 long

If these are not the ones, describe the route and I can look the length up.

There's also a long 3.5mm one from a K on the suspension which is the rear brake feed from the rear suspension- this one is 3768mm (and joins onto the connector block on the front firewall).

Oh gosh. The machanic just said it was the two larger pipes that run fwd from the two 'K' connectors.

I'll have to go and speak to him again.

What an epic!

Any chance of a photo of the connector, from your description I think it is the other K connector which I didn't need to touch.

Not got a pic and the car is at the garage. He said that there are two of them, one on each side.
