You must have a camera tripod for the night shots do you? That is the only way to get very good night pictures and its something I need to get  I borrowed one before to take some night pictures of a previous car and they can out superbly.

Your second picture is very good, it could almost be an advert for the Picasso 8-)

I wouldn't mind a run out tomorrow myself, might have to think where to go!

How do you rate your Picasso to your previous Xantias?

Yes i have a tripod along with a Canon DSLR.
As for the Picasso against the Xantia. The one i sold Paul Citroenxm, That had leather and was excellent but, i do like the higher seating position of the Picasso, Comfortable, A feeling of space, would be nicer with leather, a bit underpowered would be better with a 110 rather than the 90 hp.

Practical with space and economy, ride could be a bit better but a versatile vehicle and if it gives me the reliabilty i had with the previous Xantias then i will be very pleased.

You could always get your XPic remapped to give more power (should be similar to a 110 if not slightly better) and possible improved economy too.

I quite like the higher driving position of smaller MPV like cars, its a bit different. I find with a C5 you sit slightly higher than most cars.

Very nice pictures Russ, and looking at them they have a hint of Canon SLR to them? Edit - I didn't see there was a second page...  Indeed, a Canon!

I'd like to say they're from a Nikon (as a Nikon fan...) but I do like that night shot... 8-)

Well i have tried and tested the Picasso over the weekend and beyond. All good things must come to an end as it's back to work on Wednesday.

Beautiful day today so off we went again for a ride. Getting to grips with the car and watching fuel consumption which is on par with the old Xantia.
A few more pictures for which i apologise if pictures are not your thing but as it's a hobby of mine then where ever i go i take a camera.

Update on the Picasso.

All going well, fingers crossed, Gave her an oil change and filter, will need rear shock absorbers very soon, Hopefully that's all, i hope it does not want the rear height correcting as they sometimes do.

Done nearly 4k in her now, fuel consumption averaging close on 50 mpg on combined roads so pleased with that. Still havn't got a locking wheel nut remover but tyre is low now so will have to sort it out, No exciting photos lately unless you want photos of the rain or liquid sunshine as we call it.

Thats all for now.

And she is STILL going strong, now on 214k Russ... and still uses no water or oil.

I beleve these early Picassos didnt get the 110hdi engine untill later 16v units came along. However, as chris said, get a Tuning Box and fit it, SOOOOO easy to do! I fitted one to this Xantia and wouldn't be without it. The difference between mine and my mums 110hdi - makes the 110hdi feel like a 90bhp...

I do beleve mine is down on power a but.. Turbo starting to make a strange noise and boost release, but thats for another place.

Very nice PRO shots Russ!

Update on the Picasso.

Had an MOT at the end of September...Passed.

Had a couple of advisories though. Pitting of the front brake discs and little bit of rust on rear shock absorber. Still waiting to do the rear shocks.
Had to cancel the planned get away for the week i was off due to finances..lol.. (still buying lottery tickets with the hope of a big win )

Car will be due another oil change soon and of course the rear shack absorbers but can't complain the old girl is going well.

I did put another new tyre on her before the MOT but apart from fuel thats all ive spent.
No new pictures as we have a new puppy and he gets all the attention with the camera these days.

Keep up the good blogs guys, i still might not post much but i do read them.

May i be the first to say Merry Christmas to everyone.. :-D It wont be long you know..
