Could well be sorry I'm a bit vague on this it's a while since I've needed to use the Lexia, and I can't remember what all the menu's are called, the fact that sometimes it's Franglase doesn't help either. I would go and look on my own car except that at the mo I am suffering a rather bad flue type cold, however if you are still in trouble in a couple of days I will try to do that.

Looking at your latest slides slide 2 engine ECU configuration is very interesting and confusing it is saying that the BSI is not present and neither is the gearbox and question marks against cruise control and ABS, which says I think that it's confused about the status of these two items as also the bodywork config which I believe it gets from the BSI.

Now if the BSI wasn't there the engine ECU couldn't get the security codes required for starting and neither could it read the key FOB for starting. It would be interesting to look at this page again from a "cold start" i.e starting Lexia run the global diagnostics then into the engine configuration page and re-check that it is saying the same thing, it would also be worth going into the gearbox configuration and see what this says about devices it knows about also the BSI it would be useful to know how this has been configured.
If you get the same results I would suggest reconfiguring the engine ECU, the problem with this I notice that it offers you automatic configuration and I suspect that this would require an online connection and account with Big Brother (Citroen) you need the manual configuration but for this you will need to know exactly what is on the car.

Another thought I have assumed that you have tried disconnecting the battery for ten minutes the re-connecting, effectively re-boots all the computers, if you havn't do it before you try your next Lexia session.

I do wonder if this car has had an ECU change at sometime by somebody who didn't know what he should be doing.
