Thats one way of lifting a car on Paul! Never thought of doing it that way. Mine are probably too heavy when I scrap them to use the crane. Fortunately my neighbour has a nice telehandler.

Before we replaced the JCB with a newer 3CX a couple of years ago, here's how i moved cars i'd scrapped:

That's a handy looking trailer you've got there Paul! Mind n keep it secure though, we've had one nicked a couple of years ago.

I didnt say Post more....
Anyway, I was only showing how I managed to "Manualy" get a shell onto my trailer to dispose of... not asking how everyone else would do it..
Yes I know we cant save them all, thats how they become scarse and expensive...

You should have seen the inside of the doors Paul!!! The car was rotten as a pear - here's the good side of the rear inner wing:

That's probably the worst one I've seen, and it appears that someone had chopped the rust back to 'goodish' metal with the plan to repair I suppose.
One seriously rotten CX that was - one of the worst I've seen.
Sorry to have taken over your Blog, Paul...

I quite agree Robertrobert_e_smart wrote:Scrap the s**t, keep the good stuff. Simple!

So long as they're not simply crushed with all remaining good bits that will keep others on the road...
