Will get the Injectors cleaned and see what happens, have had a compression check done, all was good on that.

My Dad's 1.8 8V went similarly loopy when the crank sensor went. How poor on fuel? Doubt you will get much more than 30mpg - my Dad managed about 18 towing a caravan from Portsmouth to Kendal, but then he was moving it not going on holiday, and not hanging around :evil:
