No they are visible when you open the glove box which I believe is original fit.

Car is a Mk1 Exclusive SE with Nav and colour screen, the Audio from the Nav would appear to get fed into the radio via the synthesized voice input as a Mono signal.

I have tried connecting both Audio and Video to the sockets and although I can select Video on the menu nothing is heard or seen. Video I can live with out but was looking at the Audio with a view to connecting an MP3 player.
The link you posted has lot's stuff for CAN bus cars but nothing for VAN bus.

cachaciero, are you able to take a picture of the sat nav screen and the stereo that you have in car? Curious to see if the top screen will fit in mine, or is the top cover on the dash higher/wider? If so, I wont bother as I'm not keen on changing the whole dash over

Hi Mongoose, could take a photo but I can answer your question without doing so. The Colour Multiscreen is higher and the Dash is modified to take the extra height. Actually I believe that the arched bit that covers all screens is separate from the main dash but Citroen don't list it as such, there is either a Dash for Navigation / Colour screen or a Dash for the rest of the displays.
If you can work out a way of uncliping your display cover from the main dash you may be in with a chance of fitting the colour screen without taking the whole dash out, mind theirs lots of other electrical stuff involved as well and I am not 100% sure that it would work without the Nav box.
