Re: My XM V6 ES9
Well the car is now no longer with me.
It's at a garage having the welding done before it goes in for it's MOT

Re: My XM V6 ES9
Hopefully just a small patch on the o/s sill, there is a tiny hole where the car was recovered many moons ago and the ridge got bent and so on.Deanxm wrote:.................what welding be that?
They will be looking at it tomorrow morning and letting me know what the damage is, literally. I've also got them to do a service on the aircon and the tracking (as it's a long way out) other than that the car drives very nicely indeed. She is in need of new spheres badly though but even with that she sill rides nearly as well as the HDi.

Re: My XM V6 ES9
Still don't know exactly how extensive the welding is, i'll know on wednesday now. I don't want them rushing it, has to be a 100% perfect job.
Trying to sort it all out in time for CXM

I drove it too. It's sweeeeeeeeet

If anyone needs to be convinced of what the charm of an XM is all about just drive an S2 V6.
I drove my V6 Xantia straight after. Compared to an XM it feels like a micro-car

Re: My XM V6 ES9
Well i've given her a good clean and fixed a few bits that were annoying (air in the brakes and duff climate control) I'm amazed at just how good of a car it is and a very good cruiser. We've come a long long way and we've not got far to go before the car has everything electrical functioning(as citroen intended). Those items are cruise control and aircon needs re-filling. Then LPG...
All in all a fantastic car and one i'm so glad to have stuck with.
