Well i've not put any weight on them yet but they are a lot better than the old ones just by playing with them.

Why on earth do you need a trailer?? bring an estate and i'll load it in the boot with my crane. well either way i'll need you to come to mine to collect :)

because i aint sticking an engine in the boot of my 24v S1 Xm chris... ;-) thats why...

ive not got an estate to bring either...

Jim.. Im talking about Cxm time and sarah will be with me.. i think sarah was talking about staying some where.. I can only thank you for your kind offer... I hope you wont be offended..

Good work Chris, still seems to be resisting you slightly!

Paul, Ive had two Traction big 6 gearboxes in the boot of my XM Prestige, bloody heavy they are too. Yours will cope fine with a 2.1TD engine

if it helps you can leave the trailer at mine for that weekend so it's out the way. Up to you :)

Ah I see, I was very careful with mine, padded the boot out with plywood and lots of old blankets  I was slightly worried that the boot floor is perhaps not made to take so much weight, but even with the two boxes and me and my dad stood in the boot trying to move them, it held up

I must admit I'd never put an engine in the boot but then by many of Chris's definitions I'm a girl anyway   Having said that I've had 4HP20 gearboxes in the boot though...

I have a little box trailer that I've used on many an occasion for transporting engines and other less than boot-friendly items around. Now, with the latest V6 I have something to tow with again :)

A small box trailer is something which would come in very handy here, might have to get one

lol. Jim. Do you check the IP address of every Xm that joins
or does it's registration number let the cat out of the bag somewhat??

Happily she drives and drives absolutely beautifully during a test drive along Chris's private road. She rides beautifully :-D

I'm, and I'm sure Chris is too, delighted. Poor Chris has had a couple of setbacks on this project but he's won through...

By and large it's all been Chris's hard work. I've been there but more as a spectator and hurler of comments...

Well done Chris! Proud of you! =D>
