s1 xm and early s2 to early n reg are kev as they are bendix. those are the hard to get ones.. but s2 n reg onwards use tevis as per series ONE xantias.. sensors with the metal house on themred_dwarfers wrote:Teves and ATE are one and the same. The sensor I bought for mine (Mk4) was around the same for the genuine ATE jobbie from GSF. Quite good really as I originally thought that ABS sensors were a nightmare to get hold of for the XM.

OK, wipers and ABS Sensors ordered, they are listed under that reg so hopefully they'll fit AND work
Strut tops are coming off this weekend (if i can find the time) and will be sent to our lovely man in Lithuania for repair
Then just the engine oil leak to go, and again if i can find the time the inlet and belts will be coming off this sunday as well.
Once i've done that (10 min job max :O ) it's bumper on and off for a lovely MOT.

Not much left then! It'll be good to see it back wafting its way along the road once more!

Chris,
I've not forgotten about those parts yet, this is my last week working away for a while so I'll deal with it on Monday.
You've got a lot more patience with the car then I'd of had.... I've got a feeling it'd of been broken for spares a long time ago if it were me that was doing the work!
David.

Ah excellent
Out of interest was there any installation instructions for the LPG (it's dead at the moment)
The car has been so so so close to being broken about 6 times now it loves to push it's luck.
I do feel now like i'm getting near the end now as there are less and less things to sort.

Off the top of my head I can't remember.
If you google the make on the LPG ECU you should be able to find them, I've managed this for the 2 Range Rover's we've got on LPG.

admiral multicar, they halved the cost of renewal of the activa and then mirrored my NCB from the diesel (7years) so it worked out that insuring the HDi, Activa and XM worked out cheaper than insuring just the HDi and Activa

That's precisely why I can afford to keep three Xantias on policy. Admiral really are rather excellent...Chris570 wrote:admiral multicar, they halved the cost of renewal of the activa and then mirrored my NCB from the diesel (7years) so it worked out that insuring the HDi, Activa and XM worked out cheaper than insuring just the HDi and Activa

WORDS CANNOT DESCRIBE HOW F*CKED OFF I AM WITH THIS XM
HG has blown massively, explains where the coolant has been going. Engine won't run at all, water jets 12 inches high. Engine now needs to be swapped, just as I've been finalising it
