clunks finally solved... The steering rack bolts were loose!!

Excellent. I wouldn't go near a Stealers less there were naked woman in window holding placards with my name written on them........even then I wouldn't pay :-D

Guys: Only one in Central belt I know of is/was Citroen Services in Rutherglen. What they are now I don't know.
If I am really stuck a a very good friend has a garage with 3 mechanics and 2 apprentices......MOT station the lot. I can get a genuine job at trade price.
Know what? Even they know nowt about Cits :-D
