Re: Citroën Zx16v
Dad's Valver is a late Phase 2 car with the Le Mans seats. Must say that I prefer the Le Mans seats to the Monza's that are in the Sport and I'm toying with putting the Le Mans into the Sport but then again it'd be best to keep it original... However we've got a BX leather in the stores not doing anything...!

Too tempting in my book , the Bx leather seats are gorgeous , I had a Gti years ago with them fitted as an option

Re: Citroën Zx16v
Decisions , decisions , I've been offered possibly one of the nicest Ph1 Bx16v's around but I would have to let the Zx go to make way for it , this is a really hard choice which I'll have to think long and hard about . If the Bx had been a Ph2 my mind would have been made up as it is really a Ph2 I would prefer . Another concern is the Bx would have to live outside which i don't want to do , Any advice anyone please

Keep the ZX. You'd be a fool to let a gem like that go!

Re: Citroën Zx16v
Sounds like a difficult decision Mark, your ZX is in great condition and I doubt you will find another like it.

Re: Citroën Zx16v
I very much doubt the Zx will go , I would like the Bx with the snapped timing belt but I have nowhere at all to put it and do the work as and when funds become available , a useable Bx would be great but I really wouldn't want to leave one outside through the winter ,

Agh shame you're not in Belfast, I'd be more than happy to store a BX for you... As long as it doesn't mind being surrounded by cars of the superior French marque

Seems like a wise idea to keep the ZX, though we can't keep these things forever ...

Re: Citroën Zx16v
Do it Mark. It's good to have a change and you know you want a BX 16v too! Beggars can't be choosers where these cars are concerned and why not make it a Phase 2 look-a-like? Not much difference really and I've recently seen some PH2 bumpers for sale, and there's always PH2 bodykit's around as well.
As nice as the ZX is you'll always be wanting the BX 16V!! I've recently had a clear out of Visa's so I could buy the BX Sport which I have done - from I think 5 Visas I'm now down to just 2 and one of those will be going in the near future leaving me with just the White 115ch GTi.
Go for it!!

Just seen this beauty for sale not far from me , 2 owners fsh 2.0 Hdi exclusive xantia £1495, it would look great next to the Zx
I think I'll give them a call tommorrow and have a look . Also see a 2.1td exclusive Xm too in the best colour black , very tempting . I'll keep you all posted

Re: Citroën Zx16v
Yes the Xm is auto which I wouldn't really want , but the Xantia is VERY tempting , shame it's not an estate as the extra room would be ideal for tools etc , I think a test drive will on the cards tommorrow
