Nothing much to report on the Zx either, I've had the battery on a trickle charge and everything is fine, the weather's getting better so more use.

I've just found a pic of Martycit's Zx16v with mine from Wetherby last year .

Image

It's only the second Zx16v I've seen in the metal since I've had mine . I know the how many left figures are now 20 Zx16v's taxed which is an increase of 2 from the previous update . They haven't come to light on here or the Zx16vnet forum yet though .

Well I'm glad I don't have the c4 anymore, i'm not capable of cleaning a car properly and have resorted to the local car wash. I'm not really caring about the freelander going through the car wash, it's in need of a good buff up anyway, and the c2 hasn't been used for weeks and is sore in need of a clean now also. The c2 was towed away by the AA on Wednesday to the citroen dealer who has not looked at it yet and won't do till the middle of next week. It hasn't ran for nearly a month now. The freelander is going as it should, I like it and it's really comfy for my disintegrating body. It has developed a blow in the exhaust that my son can look at this weekend, but not gonna prick about with, a new one, complete can be got off eBay for less than £60. As soon as I get the c2 back working it's getting advertised and I think I will be french car less for a while.

I'm sorry to hear of your woes Davie. I hope you'll stick around the fcf even if you don't have the bother of a French car in your life.

If I know myself I won't be long before I buy something else. I still think that i will have another c5 hdi, but who knows. I get fed up of cars quickly. There's a blingo not far from me I'm thinking about, 1.9d 2001 forte. Simple and easy to fix may be the way.

As Mike says, I'm sorry to hear of your
health problems. It sounds like the freelander is ideal for you at the moment. I bet you'll be glad to see the back of the C2 :-D.

I haven't even got the v5 through for the c2 yet. I do have the new keepers slip and a handwritten receipt from the seller. It can be sold with that when it comes back from the fixers.

Nothing to report on the Zx really other than its running great, I took it over to Denby Dale the other day to drop some paperwork off at the garage who now have my Laguna. It was a very entertaining drive over and not having driven the Zx for over a couple of weeks you forget how much fun it is on the twisty stuff. Next job will be getting it cleaned up for Wetherby this weekend if we get a break in this weather.

I know what you mean Mark, I took the C6 out yesterday for a bit of a run round, it's so different to driving the Xantia, it's almost like driving it for the first time again.
