Re: C5 rear arm bearings
Anybody near Manchester fancy doing these on one of my C5's for lots of beer tokens?!
Re: C5 rear arm bearings
Would this kit be up to the job, just seems a bit cheap?

Re: C5 rear arm bearings
I think it's the bearings inside that are the most important point.
In my mind they should be sealed units but they aren't, possibly due to cost!

Re: C5 rear arm bearings
My cars got one side left to do and its a 51 plate so I was thinking this kit should see it out...

Re: C5 rear arm bearings
Could well do but I've never used them. Could also be old stock they just want rid of..
Re: C5 rear arm bearings
The wheel bearings were available last October on ebay for about a tenner but cant find them now...also cant remember the part number, think it had wk in ref or similar?? I got a set from GSF and box was the same on ebay....ebay 1/2 cost of GSF and and of course a fraction of main dealer...

Re: C5 rear arm bearings
Worth a shot I guess. To be honest I'd just pack them with more grease once the covers are on to help prevent ingress.
