Fan Relays Behind Grille
Moderator: RichardW
Right, what's happened now is that the left hand of the two Orange 40a fuses under the bonnet has blown. Upon further investigation, the right hand fan has seized up and will not spin causing the fan to blow. The fan is very tight to turn by hand.
Obviously, I now need a new fan motor, guessing it's a bumper off job to do... Which I'm fine with... But I'd like to prevent this from happening in the future... With the bumper off, can I re-wire the plugs to the relays to rule them out?

Vince has just had almost identical issues with his fans and has devised a novel method of removing them with minimal disassembly required.
