Haha I thought a remark like that would be coming! A bit late... I waved goodbye to the old girl today, she's moved on

But I will do my utmost to track down and buy the MK 1 BX driven by the Deirdre Barlow lookalike and bring it :D

We all know what happens to Renault Megane's if they turn up at a CCC Meet:

Chris, I would love to bring the Laguna. I was planning to park it up at a friends this week and just completely forget about it for a while, but this gives me reason to get that exhaust fixed. Leave it with me :)

Robert this is a car that put the biggest smile I have ever seen on your face... what can I say, missed your chance!

There is that method of parking, we could try out its safety credentials ....

Why would you want to park your Laguna and forget about it? Surely you want to get some use out of it before you mothball it?

This that might be what I do with my Activa, I can't continue to do 1000 miles a month with it, it will be worn out and I want to preserve it. Ill get some more use from it and store it, certainly over the 8 winter months ....

Are you any further forward on tracking down Deirdre?

Those were two pretty painful clips to watch... especially since the TG one had Xenon headlights :(

Well I want to build up some disposable income before I go perfecting my Laguna. One little job will happen after another and I'll end up bankrupt! Plus I have to pick up the R25 V6 very soon.

She didn't appear on her regular morning route this morning I was waiting for her.

I was thinking that the Topgear Megane might be a pre-production car and was not fit for public sale - it often happens and so it wouldn't be such a waste of a brand new car. Well its a nice thought anyway

That is a plan and having more than one project at one time is difficult too. What will be your priority, the 25 or the Laguna?

Hopefully :) Was only a 1.6 anyway!

The 25 without a doubt. It's got until the end of the summer to co-operate. I'm giving it a last chance at life, and it's got until uni begins again, otherwise it's off to the scrap yard

Looking forward to getting stuck in, I'd love to own a roadworthy 25 V6 :D

Of course :D

I have my speech ready, and I did have a top of the range C5 to tempt her with but I got bored of waiting.

Plan

I've been forbidden to buy another Citroen though. My first BX had an oil leak - the stains still live on in the driveway. Then the C5 arrived and covered that in a nice coating of LDS
