You could well be right KP, I know absolutely nothing about them, but when a price tag of £200 meets a V6 engine, it don't matter what it is :D

Chris, your Xantia V6 has gone to a member of the Autoshite forum which is good for keeping track of it. You got a quick sale there, and glad to see you're enjoying the new Xant! Yep, the Vel Satis was a trade in that they couldn't get rid of. There have been very few times in my life when I've been hopping mad... that was one of them.

Are you that unsure of yourself that you actually want one of those Luke? Their sole reason for existence is to 'help' inadequate people and I'm sure you're not one of those :)

Just this afternoon, filling the Xantia up with petrol I saw a Porche 911 and typical owner behaving like a complete cock as he took off from the pumps. People looked but only out of derision and scorn.

I think thats one reason why the FF may be going. Leaving it caked in mud certainly gets different looks from normal at the minute when its running and not sat at the side of the road again :D

The fattie is drawing air into the fuel line from somewhere, i think the intank pump is dying as its a saddle tank it also needs to balance and draw fuel, i reckon below a certain level its just pulling air instead or a feed hose into the tank from it is coming a drift. will work for ages at 30-40mph but on a motorway at constant cruise its dead within 5 minutes..

Very annoying but possibly caused by the rough roads whilst greenlaning the other weekend which to be fair, its a near 8yr old EXEC 4x4 so isn't really ever thought of going offroad bar a curb or grass verge at an equestrian event but i didnt buy it to pounce around in, i bought it for comfort and knowing if i want to get up some silly hill in mud and driving rain and winds i could. and its held its head high at the last 2 events :) I'd love to see what it could do on a trial weekend without damaging it of course! 1 reason i fitted a sump guard. nice big slab of 8mm thick ally takes a lot of damage thats for sure!

Yuck, I hate those Bentley Coupes, awful looking things driven by people who want to be noticed. They look like a flattened 4x4, I really dont understand the idea, its cramped, heavy and ugly. I do like the Flying Spur though, the 4 door, that looks much better.

Buy a car because its a great car and not for the 'look at me' factor. I hate that

If you want a Bentley due to its running gear, get a VW Pheaton with the W12 6.0. They are getting very cheap, if you can find one.

Chris the Flying Spur looks like a Toyota Avensis! I've always had a soft spot for the Conti, definitely want one, though would rather the convertible. You're right, they're a status symbol, but I'm afraid my bank balance wouldn't be close to that of the usual Bentley driver, so I should get away with it!

An Avensis! Its massive and has real presence on the road. Its not a thing of beauty but its not too bad. Having been driven in one, I think they are pretty nice, silent at 120!

There are a few RR Phantoms around here, one of those would be high on my millionaires car list

A cabrio Bentley, there is nothing worse Luke! There is a one around here with a male driver, he looks like a right idiot! More of a ladies car 8-) Well, isn't every cabrio!
