It has to be said, for me one car that managed to comfortably carry off
being one of the best prettiest and dramatic Ferraris ever was the 1984

Nice but I prefer the 288 Evoluzione, a real animal of a car !
However, I had forgotten that the F40 was an '80's design and my favourite ever Ferrari.

Nooooo! No one needs, wants or should ever have a Rover 200, that is fact!

Even if the mileage was 46 miles, it would not be worth £400. Could you actually drive it? Maybe if it comes with a balaclava ...

It was never a good car, not even when Mr Bucket had one!

Spend your £400 elsewhere, that would get you into a Xantia, maybe even an Xm or Activa. Maybe something of a different make, but at least something decent!

Well just look at it! What are its good points?

I dont dislike Rovers, I love 75s and the later 25s/45s arnt bad looking cars either, but that is awful.

Mind, we all have different tastes in cars, not every one likes the C5 or Vel Satis, but that doesnt mean they are bad cars, far from it. So maybe im not giving the old Rover a chance :roll:

Guess what i had to do on new years day? go round to my brother in-laws & fix his 1992 rover416 which wouldn't start! I'm sure you can all imagine how much i wasn't looking forward to that job, thankfully i either 'jiggled' the right wire(s) or it was a temporary fault which is now cured. To be fair the car has been bomb proof reliable for them with only the bodywork letting it down (it looks f**kin dire! :oops: ) however it's MOT runs out at the end of Jan & they're considering getting something else, I'm hoping it will be PSA derived so i stand some chance of being able to fix it :lol:

I had an Orion many years ago, bought it from a scrappy for £125.00 i think & it was mega reliable, think i sold it a dodgy kid for about £45 after buying a 2ltr sierra & for the record, a Ferrari F40 is on my 'lottery' wish list (along with many other cars) :roll:

what? are you 'avin a go at me sunshine? nowt wrong with my old ford Onion, it was basic but super reliable as was my 2.0 ltr sierra although the same couldn't be said for my AMERICAN Ford Escort, that damn thing broke it's self without me driving it! (........ long and expensive stories.......)
