I saw one on the evans halshaw website, thought it was a Toyota at first.

I dont like it, though it does look better in that picture than the one on the website. Still, its not a nice looking car, take the badges off and there is no way you would know it should wear the double chevrons.

There's no shape or unity of line to this which was strong on the original C4.
In fact debadged I'd have guessed this was a Vauxhall but they've done a
cleaner job on their new Astra.

Sadly, there are very few [if any] new cars I actually like today and I've
been a petrolhead since my very first Dinky toy. Car design styling has
lost the plot and nothing has any genuine brand values being a bland
me-too 'style'. And when they try being different, we get things like the
grisly new Jaguar XJ #-o or that Duke abomination. :puke:

I saw the new C4 at a Citroen dealer today, my earlier comments still stand, its even worse than i thought it was going by the pictures.

It stood out amongst all the C5s, C3s, C4s etc in the car park, looking like some kind of Toyota, actually thats not doing Toyota any justice.

The last C4 was quite a nice looking car, very smart design, sold reasonably well and its funky and sporty. The new one looks to have been very over styled, which has gone badly wrong, and put on weight.

I can't see it selling, but then i have been wrong before

I saw one on the road today, and I completely agree with you Chris - it looks WORSE in the metal.

Behind it was a 55 reg Iron Grey VTS Coupe. It actually looks like the "new" one should have came first!

I've noticed other guys are having posting issues this evening as I have.
It's excruciating - the refresh is sooooooo slow and by the time any page
appears and by the time any page appears I've forgotten what it was or
I have planned to post on it...

it's getting better than it was earlier though. :(

Thanks for sharing, thought it was my internet.

And I now don't look like a total idiot for posting twice :)

There have been a lot of double/triple posts this week.

Has anyone experienced delays when typing text? It appears to be fine now but I have experienced times when I am three or four words typed ahead of them appearing on the screen, along with all the spelling errors :(

It seems to 'hang' when you click preview / post so you click the option again
anf hey presto, when you eventually get the thread up again by quitting out
of it all, there's x2 identical postings making you appear a right numpty...

been doing it off / on the past few days at varied hours TBH.

I think it looks good, the only thing I will say is it looks a bit like the new shape Vauxhall Astra from the front.

I prefer the old shape C4, at least it looked a bit different from everything else.
