Chris

Can I tempt sir with a Vel Satis? Spotted it on the auction catalogue for SWVA down here in Poole.

Its a 2003(53) Initiale Auto. 3.5 V6 Petrol  with 37k

Only problem is its showing as having no MOT

 8-)

Cheers Toby, I've emailed them for more info! Exceptional mileage on it. Still, bound to have been an expensive 37,000 miles with a 3.5 V6 drinking your wallet...

No problem, bear in mind that catalogue is for the sale held tomorrow (Tuesday 14th December)

I'd go have a look for you but I'm working

Thanks anyway Toby. They didn't reply to my email and I came across a nice V6 Laguna much closer to home today... we'll see what happens :)

Car and Classic is free, but they make their money on the so called privacy service they offer, which is a premium rate telephone number service that potential buyers use to call sellers.

...didn't know that Robert. I don't think that it applies to Trade though, as our numbers are the same.
Looking into it and it seems you're right - learn something new everyday eh?!
Car and Classic Privacy Service
What is the Car and Classic Privacy Service?
This is a no cost service to the advertiser. It prevents a private advertiser's telephone numbers from being placed unprotected in the public domain on the web. Thus a personal telephone number does not become known to others. It "prevents" a number from being collected by unwanted sales organisations and unscrupulous individuals. It complements our other anti scam and anti fraud measures and is part of our privacy service. It helps ensure that personal contact details are only used for the purpose that you the advertiser had intended.

How much does a call cost when telephoning using this system?
People calling an Car and Classic Privacy Service 070 number from a standard BT home phone are charged 37ppm peak, 25ppm evening and 12.5ppm weekend . Other operators and mobile phone rates will vary according to operator. Car and Classic receives a small proportion of this revenue which helps maintain a high quality FREE adverts service.
Even though with that, it's still a good service that they provide - I bet they make some money from the eBay links that they have in the page too.

 A 2.2 DCi is too expensive to insure but a 3.5 v6 is do-able?!

I'm very close to buying this Laguna V6. No doubt I still will... then cry when it hits me that I actually can't drive it. I think I have a disease.

Looks good, I see it has what is known in the Renualt circles (unless ive been misinformed ) as the chocolate wheels, doubt they taste very nice but they do deform well im lead to believe?

Obviously there is something im missing here, V6s engines seem quite an addictive thing! Glad ive not tried one yet, as I might be in the same boat, a V6 engined one!

Haha first time I've heard that analagy... 100% true!!

And yes, V6 addiction is bad, leave it until you're financially prepared - wish I did!

No to be honest it's in a state. Sat for 3 months, passenger window dropped into the door (another nice Laguna quirk) and went unnoticed for a nice wet, frosty November. Battery was also flat when I went to view it so I couldn't drive it.

I'm going back though!!! :)
