I thought that might be me who said that, it was! Its just a saying, you must have heard it? :lol:

Though actually I had let the suspension down, so it was parked down while it was parked up! :roll:

it's annoying to me that im not in control and that the car decides to pump as soon as a door is open, as i don't necessarily start up the car every time i jump in.
having said that, i had a bad habit of not remembering to let the car rise before i set off when i had a CX...

If the car is parked and the low height is selected before parking then the car will not pump up when you unlock or open the door.

Its not a matter of the car taking over or your not having control, you didnt have control in a CX, it did it when started ...

Unless the battery is very weak it wont effect the car at all. I actually like the electric pump and the benefits it brings, no need to wait an age before driving away etc.

I have never had any difficulty in replace/removing or refitting a C5s battery. I have done it a fair few times and not had any resulting problems.
