If you wanted to make a xantia a sinker the parts are readily available from xm's, there is always one being broken somewhere.

Mind yo totaly ooff topic here, how come the activa gets a pump pully cover but the xm tct did not

Well.....
After sorting the 306's fuel starvation issues, we set about getting the Activa running. My dad reattached the beefy looking wires in the loom by cutting some flex off, wrapping them back together, and putting insulation tape around them (very pro job..!) just to see if anything would happen. Two big current fuses had gone in the engine bay fuse box, the owners manual doesnt tell you what these fuses are, only that you should contact a Citroen dealer if these fuses fail! So we nicked the required fuses off the 2.1TD just to see what would happen.
The little sod fired up after about half a second of cranking over. Makes it all the more gutting that it's probably beyond easy repair.
So I was able to depressurise the system and now the VSX has the Activa's old (but new) spheres. The LHM return hose off the pressure regulator has died though, so once the system was up to pressure it started firing LHM out of the side of the regulator! Even more so when I then opened the bleed valve. Is that a big job to replace?
