another prob showed its self today,

the N/S driveshaft oil seal was not holding the gear box oil back,

i found the n/s diff bearing does not sit back into the houseing as far as on the BE3, so the drive shaft does not go fully home by about an 1/8th of an inch,

the only fix i could come up with for the mo was to not fit the new oil seal all the way home,

I presume what you need is the gearbox end cup from a driveshaft fitted to a be4 box? I think a lot of 21st centuiry peugeots and citroens have this box so should be fairly easy to figure out. Certainly larger engine variants of the 307 and 406 use it, although not the hdi110 because that uses the bigger box.

yes i agree with that but the owner had taken three days off work, and realy needed his car back as he starts work at 5.30 to 6.00am and has to cart his cleanning equipment about,
