Not sure about an additional water temp. gauge but my S1 V6 Exclusive had the oil temp gauge!!

oOps! :? Quite correct!

The perils of posting quickly and surreptitiously whilst attempting to appear like I'm working!!

Yep, the Exclusives are reworked VSX's so yes the same(ish) but Citroen played around with the s2 dash a bit more in this area...

So the Activa's days are numbered!?

Andrew
I'm afraid that might be the case :(

I wish I could fit a 2.1TD engine to it, I just can't afford to run two cars, and don't want to put 70 miles a day on the Activa, although I know it could do it perfectly well and reliably. I would rather put the miles on a cheaper to run diesel like the 1.9 VSX.

Interested Andrew? ;)

Yes they did indeed... Instead of a relatively usefull oil temp. gauge I now have a 'gauge' telling me which gear I have selected (in an auto) doh!!!

I can't understand why more cars don't come with an oil temperature guage. For example my brothers Honda S2000 doesn't have one, and that's not exactly a lazy engine, so I'd imagine oil temperature is quite important...

Oil pressure gauge was more the norm in my early motoring day's and I had a Mazda RX7 with the rotary engine for a number of years... it had a loud buzzer at 10,000 rpm, it was the only way to know you were over revving... talk about smooth as a sewing machine!

Well Dommo, if you're down in Ascot may as well take a "small detour"
for a replacement s1 colourcoded front bumper in white:

Make it a bit of a roadtrip then!

BTW, that's not just any old white Xantia front bumper. OOh no; this car's a s1
2.1 so shares the Activa s1 front bumper with lower front 'airdam' moulding lip!

S1 Activa looks for your new motor even if no ARCS...
