Yes Jim, i want the best for littlun, just got to be carefull with th finances thats all, we wil get used to it and it will be worth it for Ellie.
Anyway, My inbox has been set alight by literaly, and im not exagerating, no messages at all, not even an "i will give you 50p for it" so i will sit down saturday night and get her on ebay as it stands, once she is gone and ive finnished weeping i will dig out all my Activa spares and start listing them up on the forum incase anyone here wants to buy them before they are put up on ebay. i may swap some parts for some XM upgrades im after but i will look at that closer to the time, first priority is to move the Activa on.
Sad, sad times gentlemen.

Indeed, but for the greater good Dean.Deanxm wrote: Sad, sad times gentlemen.
Adam, trouble is, in Pomland a car on SORN and unused very quickly deteriorates - unless you have the luxury of a heated and humidity controlled garage. Now if only we could ship all our cars out to you for storage...

Re: Dean's Activa/XM blog
Yes i did toy with the idea of storing it but where's the sense in that? it just means its going to rot away unused and unloved somewhere for god knows how long, may as well sell it on, free up some money and let someone else get some enjoyment out of it.
Littlun had her first driving lesson last weekend, we took my dads car out on the bridle ways that run along the downs for the afternoon, she stood there forr well over an hour, no mean feat in that terrain

Come on folks, someone must be able to give Dean's Activa a new home...
I can't believe you've had no offers on it Dean - it's a great car IMO...

£6...
(Obviously I'd pay more however it wouldn't get used enough. Blame the insurers!
)
I agree Jim, not sure who's smiling more - Ellie or Dean!

Re: Dean's Activa/XM blog
Evening,
I actualy managed to do something to the xm this evening, the wife and Ellie were out when i got home early so i cleared up the leaves, cut the grass then made my patch for the outrigger, i only started it god knos=ws how many weeks ago!!! just need to clean it up and cut it to fit the car or the car to fit it whichever is best, it turned out rather well.

granted, progress is a little on the slow side and yes i should of got the leaves out from under the car too, i should have changed the Activa's engine mount also but i think i picked the right thing to do.
