Similar to the DSM rally then Citroening?
Ill have to try and find you and meet you at last, i think we have been to a few of the same events but iver never met you as yet.
Im looking forward to the CXM, should be a good event hopefully.
Ill be there in the Xm, of course.

Hopefully (if the resto' is done), I'll be there in the Maikonics CX. You can't miss it with azev alloys and morette lights! It will be leading the convoy on the saturday too! If the resto isn't done it'll probably be CGOO or the 1 owner CX 2000.

Citroening, i hope this convoy drive has a fair amount of Xms in it as well as CXs, it will be nice to have a good display. Ill probably see you there then.

The 6H was superb Chris. I didn't notice anything wrong with your gear changes. Thanks again to you and your dad for taking me out in it. On these type of convoy runs, I like to get a ride in a car I have never been in, instead of taking the car I drive all the time!
You know me too well Franklin!

Here's a picture at the beginning of the line up of the convoy...there were also some Xantias too IIRC...Citroenmad wrote:Citroening, i hope this convoy drive has a fair amount of Xms in it as well as CXs, it will be nice to have a good display. Ill probably see you there then.
I was very lucky to get a ride on the way back in the well known CGAT in exchange for some CX parts...There's only one way to describe it...I like to get a ride in a car I have never been in, instead of taking the car I drive all the time!

Perhaps it's also because Len's DS is a fully restored car and Tim's BX is all original, which adds cudos.citroenesque wrote:He thought he had it sewn up. His face was a picture when he had to go and pick up his consolation!Citroenmad wrote:to see Len Drew not winning concours...
I don't think he shouldn't have won as his car is perfect - bar a leak - but there's a certain element of "move over, give someone else a chance"

Also whilst Lens car is magnificent there comes a time when someone else should be allowed a bite of the cherry, hence why I didn't take my VSX to this years rally after it and my Activa had won the Xantia prize for the past three years, move aside and let someone else win or the fun factor will be lost.Dieselman wrote:Perhaps it's also because Len's DS is a fully restored car and Tim's BX is all original, which adds cudos.citroenesque wrote:He thought he had it sewn up.
