Thanks for the info James, I have had some fun and games with them this week, 3 phone calls from them Monday, Tues and Wed. yes you can no you can't. Finally got an email from them this morning with their London office address. It is now on it's way by special delivery to be there before 13.00hrs. tomorrow, they will then send it to China and then I should get a replacement, maybe perhaps, or maybe another £5.50 down the drain.

I bought my LEXIA from a UK stockist for this reason, might have been a bit more but at least replacement would have been easy.
I was lucky I guess, it works fine on my C5 and my dads 406.

Yes I agree with that but I think there is a good chance of getting a dud with these clones. My supplier I think had 4 to sell and has had good feedback from the other 3, it looks like I was just unlucky. There is a chance I may get satisfaction in the end.

Well finally got my replacement and it works,it is just a little plain, no stickers on it but a small price to pay, they will not get any decent feedback unless they supply the stickers, I was lucky I could return the faulty unit to their London office for £5.50, still it was an extra £5.50 I should not have had to pay. In the end I suppose it was a good deal a total of £125.50, but it was a lot of hassle but there again I knew the risks of dealing with China, it actually came from Hong Kong and had been opened possibly by customs and was open when DHL delivered it to me.

Tell me about it, I only hope I can get the hang of it, it does throw up 3 permenant fault codes when I get some time I will investigte them. I have opened a Ebay resolution center dispute over these stickers after the seller said they were not all that important as it was only for my personal use and I would not be selling it, telling me what to do with my property cheeky blighters. After I opened the dispute they sent me an email saying they would order the stickers and send them to me next week if I closed the dispute, no chance. Before I opened the dispute they said if I wanted the stickers I would have to send the lot back to China and the factory would put the stickers on and send them back to me, the postage both ways to be paid by me. The stickers on the original Lexia were put on by me, they were in the bag loose, this is getting quite amusing, I do want the stickers but I can live without them but I have paid for them, I have already paid an extra £5.50 that I should not have had to pay, It was not my fault the original was faulty. They will now receive negative feedback. it is 44 days now since I paid and you only have 45 days in which to dispute.

I was supplied with the stickers, but haven't fitted them. I like to think of it as a Ninja-Lexia... An IR LED would be the coolest mod for the interface.

I bought mine directly from "Eddie" Yu at buyobd.com - paid by PP, was sent a registered post tracking number that worked so far as leaving Taiwan was concerned, and it arrived in about ten business days. I had to sign for collection. With the 30 pin cable and PP conversion fees (outrageous) it cost AUD$210, or £120-odd. DVD had Lexia 3.45, PP2000-22, Proxia and a few doo-dads.

Haven't tried the cables beyond my Xantia, but Peugeot Planet loaded up fine and my older version of Lexia (42) runs perfectly with it.

Sure, I didn't get feedback as it wasn't a Fleabay purchase, but so far it has already diagnosed one fault the specialists overlooked, IMO it's 40% paid its way already...

I reckon it's great, having both marques on one machine.

My seller (seems good)
