sorry folks just bringing this post back..

did anyone ever get anywhere with height settings? I was driving my C5 last week at 70-80, and I could feel it (I am sure) going up and down gently,.. which was interesting but not expected..

Connects2 - I found two of them recently, both the same, both for C5/406 etc.. RD3 headunit I think..
I plugged one into C5 stereo last night, and put mp3 player via phono leads in, but the headunit didnt seem to to anything..

but.. and it coud be a big one, both of my boxes have a sony stack datalead input as well, the example at the beginning of this thread doesnt have that port.. is that my problem, i am using a stack controller instead of a basic aux-in controller?

John

also, just to make full use of this thread.. does anyone have the second brake switch mentioned.. my car only has one switch so I am guessing cruise wont (doesnt) work

means I have 2 x C2 boxes for linking an aftermarket stack to PSA cars, and I have one stack 6xMP3 if anyone wants :)

well it works ok.. the connects2 tells the car there are 2 cd's in.. in reality I plug the MP3 (phone) player into it and it plays through stereo..

but..
not loud enough.. ok for day to day use but sometimes you just want more ;) also, changing from this back to FM, the jump in volume is scary..
So, I guess I need a pre amp now to go between the MP3 and the connects2.. just something small and simple..

:)
