Excellent Will :D

I really don't recognise thet one. It looks like the cabin temperature sensor connector but yours won't have one :?

I can look at my early Activa later on....

Is there any visible numbers on the wires?

At Least you have the Main Loom to ADD Air Con if you needed too!!!

That addition to the harness came in 1995 with the Air Bag etc revision!

I know this as my 1994 L reg Xantia SX does not have the extra plugs, so I had to make my own harness, and a recent M reg SX I did a heater matrix in had the loom already in, and so does yours...

As for the plug, im racking my brain too....

As the wires dissapear into the Clock Orface, in which direction do they go, rear wards beside the face vents, downwards towards the radio, or towards the speedo clocks etc etc????

Ok i think one of the wires is 8103 but i will try and write them down if i can grab a minute today before i finish work Jim :)

Had a eureka moment as to why the switch is in the circuit  its due to the hydractive putting the car into hard mode when the doors are open...

This would explain the slightly harder ride i've been having since the car was put back together and the reason why it goes round corners even better and sharper now :)

Another fault found is that the coolant circuit seems to be pressurising... it must be an air lock as the water is slowly pushed out of the expansion cap if it is left off, though the level drops when the engine is rev'd and then rises on idle..... very wierd. performance seems to be pretty good still and no steam from the exhaust and will check for mayo later as well.

May flush the system again incase something has got unstuck during the matrix job and is now lodged in the system somewhere causing an issue.

Ok Jim cable numbers are,

C12J
8030
8031
8048

If that shows up anything it would be great but knowing my luck it won't have anything to do with the door open system and will be for something like aircon or traction control that was never implemented lol
