Not wanting to tempt fate but mine has been off now since playing with the wires, So nice not having the SERVICE light on when driving.

This fault is usually the clock spring ribbon cable on the steering column. On most PSA cars this is part of the com 2000 unit (the indicator/wiper/light switch).
There are two igniters in the drivers airbag in the steering wheel. This fault indicates that one of them is faulty. It is usually because the ribbon cable has broken.

This problem is the same on my c5 2003 sx got lexia kit and ran program but it just says airbag fault. The airbag light doesnt stay on just bleep and "airbag fault" message on screen. Maybe its just me being new at using lexia diagnostics kit. Would love to know if there is a users manual for the lexia kit that explains fault messages.

Omg cant wait for the rain in Cumbria to stop so I can start lifting carpets in passenger side to look for these connectors. Service light on all the time is making me paranoid lol
