If I can recall correctly from memory, this is how to remove the wishbone on the Xantia (The 1.9 TD at least).
The rear wishbone bushes are held on with the same bolts that hold on the ARB bushes. Loosen these two and the one for the front mushroom bush. Split the lower hub balljoint, take out the bolts for the bushes, move the hub upwards/wishbone downwards and pull the wishbone out towards you.
Replacing the rear bushes (most common ones to go) isn't too bad a job. The more broken they are the easier they are to replace. Make a note of the angle that the bolt holes protrude from. Basically mash up the rubber, cut the outer metal bit and slide it off. Grind/cut the inner metal bit and take that off. Not sure if it works for cast but it may help to somehow cool the end of the wishbone ready for pressing/hitting the new bush on. Make sure its at the right angle.
Sounds easy?
If its anything like my bushes, everything that could be seized was seized!
