Indeed a very good event!
In time I will upload some pictures too, I seem to have an awful lot of pictures of Cx prestiges!
The adge that you meet the very nicest of people driving Citroens was once again proved in spades
I second that!

It was amusing how many people commented on how good it was to have enthusiastic young people in the club to me Kev and Chris! (and of course super enthusiastic Luke)

A good weekend had by all it seems.

Ive had an extremely enjoyable weekend. :D

What a nice collection of cars turned up, some i wouldnt have minded taking home. Especially that nice blue DS Safari.

The weather was excellent at the event, my neck is burning! Need to remember the sun cream for future events

It was great to meet you at last Kev, Dave, Jim and Malcolm. Ill look forward to meeting you all again at future events. I met quite a few FCF members, very nice to finally put names to faces. One of the most enjoyable parts of the CCC events is meeting the very nice people in the club and, of course, from here. Everyone is always very welcoming and chatty.

Thanks again for the ride in your Xm on the convoy, Dave, thats a very nice car you have there. And thanks Kev for the drive of your Xantia, the first time ive driven a 1.9TD, i was very impressed. Apparently i need to swap my 'bland' C5 for a Xantia ... Im not sure about that, but i certainly wouldnt mind a Xantia soon.

I had a fairly enjoyable drive home, apart from the torrential rain all of the way making the surface of the M1/A1(M) like a lake, it was a nice drive back. I got home in about 3 3/4 hours including a 20 minute coffee stop about 100 miles in. Where i bumped into Keith Sunter and his C6, so had a litttle chat and set off on my way again.

A very nice weekend all in, ill certainly be attending many more future events. :)

we did not see a drop of rain on our way back down south, we to stoped for a fluid drain and top up break at Thurrak services,

an Irish guy aproached me to ask if i am a 2CV'er as i had my 2CVGB Scotland World meeting T shirt on (with Nessy),

he was just on route to Dover going to south of France for a Dersh techy weekend, in fact it is the event that Adrin Chappman (CCC webmaster) has posted an offer from the people running the event, offering the hole full board weekend for free to two CCC members, as they had a couple people drop out, and did not have a refund of there fee,

Many apologies for not making it. It turns out I was working and I have no money at present anyway.

I believe the National is next month though?

Yes, it is :D

Should be a cracker this year, being at Gaydon. There's talk of holding a technical brief on suspension, including Activa suspension checking and setting up  Might be of great interest to you...

Hope some money soon appears :D

That certainly sounds interesting. I'm on holiday that week and will put some money aside.

I WILL make it to this one. Just a shame I can't bring the Activa.

I knew it would have been a great event :) and some great pictures  I almost had to turn off the link you posted Richard as it made we want a DS so bad it was driving me nuts :P

Will try all my powers to make it to the national rally [-o<

Does anyone have the exact venue details?
