Re: Funny pictures and videos
Used to be CTRL+ALT+Backspace but Ubuntu have disabled it. Can be re-enabled but I forget how and there is an alternative - forget what that is too.
Usually rebooting the X-server will sort any problems out (what problems?) but as you say Xac, a quick poke of the power button will do quite well.

This talk of Ctrl+Alt+Del reminds me of the trusty Amiga with it's Ctrl+Left Amiga+Right Amiga. On the rare occasion it did crash, the power (and I think disk) light alternated between dim and bright with the old guru meditation appearing in it's flashing red box afterwards, ah yes, I grew rather attached to my Amigamyglaren wrote:Used to be CTRL+ALT+Backspace but Ubuntu have disabled it. And just like Linux it takes bloody ages to get anything done!CitroJim wrote: Brilliant. Sums up the Penguin Operating System a perfect treatYou know how a guitar works from building it. Perfect. What do you learn from just plugging it into a Gates wonder-box and just playing the thing? No fun in that at all...

Excellent
I did find one of Tux p**ing on a copy of Windows but thought that was a bit too risqué...

Seconds. After resizing them, dropped them in the NFS share and then copied them up to Apache on the server. Simples...Xac wrote: and how long did it take to transfer that directory Jim? tee-hee
