Used to be CTRL+ALT+Backspace but Ubuntu have disabled it. Can be re-enabled but I forget how and there is an alternative - forget what that is too.

Usually rebooting the X-server will sort any problems out (what problems?) but as you say Xac, a quick poke of the power button will do quite well.

This talk of Ctrl+Alt+Del reminds me of the trusty Amiga with it's Ctrl+Left Amiga+Right Amiga. On the rare occasion it did crash, the power (and I think disk) light alternated between dim and bright with the old guru meditation appearing in it's flashing red box afterwards, ah yes, I grew rather attached to my Amiga :)

Excellent :-D I did find one of Tux p**ing on a copy of Windows but thought that was a bit too risqué...

Seconds. After resizing them, dropped them in the NFS share and then copied them up to Apache on the server. Simples... 8-)

Lots and lots of seconds thanks to a finger mishap that wouldn't happen with windaz ;)
