I meant it was like a leave pass to be something you weren't normally - in this case, someone who could eat pig.

Had my son and his new girlfriend here.
She is from New Jersey and has a somewhat Semitic countenance.

I made Boeuf Bourguignon for dinner yesterday.
I do hope she isn't Jewish as there was a kilo of gammon in it :shock:
