More a "silly buggers" picture than outright funny - but yes, it did fit! At highly illegal backroads speeds, it added some stability to the car.



Started first kick when unloaded at the other end, 600 miles later.

I did that ^ when my son bought a scooter but couldn't drive it home, shoved it in the back of the Renault 11 but couldn't quite close the hatch - the car had a voice synthesiser that was triggered at the slightest thing and the open hatch set it off on a rant claiming all the doors were open, the bonnet wasn't latched, the lights were all broken, there was no fuel, no oil, no coolant...
Repeated ad infinitum all the way home.
