Low battery voltage often results in the damned things going completely haywire and giving all sorts of loopy warnings.

Any who know how much the votage should be? There should be a way to "analyze" that.

If not.. Is there a way to deactivate / remove the bong "speaker"? Its not the same sound as my handbrake alarm etc. So I really dont care if the "bong" doesnt come if I forget my seatbelt or when I shifting to reverse.

My voltage gauge on the dash shows just over half way and the battery is new.

Is the beep the same as when keys left in ignition and you get the key reminder message?

No its not the same as the key reminder sound.

Its the same sound as when you put your car into reverse or forget to put on your seatbelt.

What's your temp display showing for outside temp? Its not reading too low is it?

And the only other thing I can think of is the speed nagger, when you press and hold the button in to set I think it bongs maybe button stuck sometimes?

Its showing the right temp. Ex. 15 degrees.

Its not the speed nagger. It is turned off.

The weird thing is that the "bong" sound only beeps sometimes. And I dont know what to do for activating it. So the only way I see it is to turn of the speaker totally.

Anybody knows where the "bong" speaker is placed?

In the com2000 I think. But you would lose the beeps too.

Difficult to check but I wonder if it is an electrical fault on the reversing light switch or wiring.
Selecting reverse sounds a bong and lights the lights but there is no other indication.

You might try disconnecting the reversing light switch on the gearbox, see what effect that has.
