That is a very neat instillation, but not the most efficient, 3 of the injectors are substantially closer to the engine inlet valves than the other 3, this could of course be compensated with the LPG ecu, however not as optimal as having all 6 injectors at the edge of the intake manifold.

LPG indeed has a Higher octane rating, but this is countermanded by a lower energy density, which generally negates any gains made by more advanced timing.

Not sure about Lpg on Xantia V6. Cooking heat temps as standard and hotter running fuel with alloy heads....just a matter of time? Maybe heat dissipation is different on the V heads?

I know in Aus The Patrol TB42 petrol 6 pot had an Lpg cooked head club with many paid up members :lol:

If I were going to do such a conversion it would be to NO2 rather than LPG :wink:
It infuriates me to be wrong when I know I'm right
