Very nice Paul, the SX was a good spec, nice interiors if i remember rightly. Though some had green parcel trays and matching carpets i think?

Thats a very good colour too, your V6, sames as Jims i think?

Yes, shes a Twin of Jims but much lower milage, I estimate about 70k..

I have service record to 45k, but the clocks are showing 28k, so I assume a clock change around the 45k or so.. ALSO the overall condition in the car sugests a lowish milage, NO wear on the seats at all, rears never been sat in, general NON WORN switches/levers etc...

As for the Xantia, yes I reckon SX IS the best spec, you may have read elsewere Im NOT a fan of hydractive, so SX it is for me... unfortunally early ones has an awfull colour combination, before the Air bag and Chevron re-home, blacks cars were fitted with CREAM SEATS and TRIM!! Yuk! BOTH my L 1994 and L 1993 TD SX models have had Cream in them, so I binned the seats and fitted VSX Seats and door cards!

EVEN binned the Cream carpets too.... and put in LX Base grey carpet.. I DO NOT agree with VSX Green carpets from a Green car either.

I bought a 1995 M reg SX TD, but that had much better Grey carpets and seats and pillar trims..

I've seen some nice green S2 V6's with cream leathers, very nice in that guise I think.

I cant remember how many miles Jims has done now but it did look very nice when i saw it. Yous is low milege, any ideas why it might have had a clock change? Its usually easy to tell if its a high or low mileage car just be looking at it isnt it.

Ive always loved the VSX trim, the checked kind of material, very nice, id have that over leather i think. Im not a huge fan of leather myself, i think a nice cloth can look better in a lot of cars and is usually nicer to live with - not hot and sticky in the summer and cold in the winter. Though Citroen did make some rather interesting fabrics at some point, then your better off with leather

No, Société Anonyme is French for Limited Company.

Although PSA did swallow up a few makers; the remains of the UK Rootes group (Hillman et al) and Simca amongst others...
