That's one heck of a good Christmas present Candy :D

And a warm welcome to the forum. I hope you both enjoy your Xantia immensely...

Nothing Citroen related but I did buy a remap for the A Class A170CDi that I bought to run until I track down and fit a diesel engine for the XM.

You want a nice 2.1TD in there Steve :D Easy enough in place of a 2.0TCT as well as blocks, mounts and so on are pretty similar.. Get one with a Bosch pump and not even any ECU to worry about...

Referring to the DS I take it  All part of the fun and enjoyment though

Hi Jim,

That's exactly the plan, a nice simple straight forward 2.1. A top end rebuild with a port and polish on the head and manifolds. Sell the 2.0 TCT and the LPG kit. If I can't find a scrap XM (I won't break a salvageable one) then it's a scrap 406/Xantia and parts to convert it to Bosch.

Due to the timescale involved that's why I bought the A Class. Apart from the harsh ride I really like it.

Steve.
