Happy Christmas all and more importantly, a very happy, successful, prosperous and peaceful new year in which all our problems are little ones
I'd like to say a big thank you, every one of you, for making this forum the great place it is. I only look after it, it's you all that make the FCF what it is and every minute on it has been a pleasure
Here's to 2010 with the Forums on a good, sound footing. their future is assured for many years to come

Merry christmas everyone and a happy new year
Just setting up my new computer speakers and then off out for lunch.
Still snow on the ground here, which is nice.
Have a good one

Celebrated with my "usual" 800 mile round trip. Home by 0400
Boxing Day. Seasonal fare included motorway service centre chips, a couple of tomato sandwiches made before leaving, and a Mars Bar.
Police chased me in a remote area - I wondered why until they approached the window - chronically short on drivers to breath test. A somewhat heavy-handed way to make up target numbers of customer contact events.
Rain was heavy in many places, and the C-Drives are clearly past their best. It kept me with both hands firmly on the wheel for much of the journey (2/3 of which, are poor condition back roads). That said, I wouldn't have wanted to be in other than a newer French car for the journey; it's a great balance of roadholding and comfort.
A near-perfect day out; I'd have liked to spot and photograph some venomous snakes but the weather seemed to have put them elsewhere.
Cheers, Adam.
