It looks like the ratio from a 2.2 would do nicely for me.
I do most of my work journey on a motorway, out of 20 miles 17 are on the mway! and most fo that i try and spend behind a lorry at the moment to get the best out of a tank.
When off the mway i rarely get into 5th as the roads where round i live on the way to picking the kids up do not give much chance. from the mway to my house i can get into 5th for a minute maybe two if im lucky depending on the railway lines but the motorway is my main stay at the minute and even when i do the occasional day work in other offices I tend to sit at cruise speed of 60mph as i feel the ride is much nicer and a lot less stressful.
