That picture was taken back in the summer. Since then I can see just how much weight I've lost following the doctor putting me on a strict diet follow sky-high cholesterol levels....

I lost 1 1/2st in 2 weeks on the paint and plumb through the night diet recently too due to the new house, its great. You wake up late for work and miss breakfast, also leave your sandwhich behind on the sideboard beause you are in such a tear and panic, then you have a regular meal for dinner before going to the new house up the road to get the central heating in and the bedroom revamped from the ground up to keep swmbo happy come moving day and i feel S**t
im sure you have all been there.
Being serious for just a second though i really should start to watch my cholesteral before its to late, i eat far too much junk and smoking cant cure everything
Do you actualy feel better now then or does your doctor just look happier?

Yes, very possibly Dean! I've always been of slim build and was happily eating anything and everything and not really putting on excessive weight. My diet included lots of junk, including cheese and chocolate. In fact anything high in saturated fat I loved and devoured in large quantities...
I went to see the Doc because I was not feeling at all well. He checked me over, found my blood pressure was hight and took bloods. That's when my cholesterol was found sky high. He put me on a low-fat diet and since then I've been good with it, lots of salad, no red meat, veg and fruit and to be absolutely honest, I've never felt better. Lots more energy and no thumping head if I lay under a car for a long period.
It's had a strange effect though as I cannot, at the moment, take a high-fat, rich meal without feeling rather ill. Yesterday I was on a seminar at a local hotel and we were treated to a superb 3-course lunch with all the trimmings. It did me no good at all
So yes, eat a sensible diet and it'll reward you greatly
My shopping now more or less is concentrated at the greengrocery aisles!
Just got to crack the old smoking now. That's a lot harder than doing a complete change around in diet
I must do so though..
