Actually I think that XM's just have a borderline personality disorder... they need company, attention and nurturing. Also they self harm and have a fear of being abandoned (crushed)

Oh, they very much have a personality! Yesterday I had to tow a broken Skoda with mine, and it signalled it's displeasure by putting it's heater on full power regardless of what temperature I selected, which did make me sweat. Today however, after having all night to calm down normal service was resumed...
