I've just had to do the whole grease and clip renewal routine too. The downward facing ball onto which the clip fits seems to have rusted to such an extent that the new clip does not require too much effort to clip on (and presumably clip off!). Other than getting one from a scrappy any tricks to keep the clip on?

if you meah the ball on the end of a short arm/rod which is attatched to a clamp and clamped to the rear anti roll bar, then that clamp with arm and ball is avalible from citroen for around 12 quid,

the only point if replaceing this is you will have to set up/adjust the rear hight after fitting it

No it'sthe other one attached to the spring gubbins. I've made a rather inelegant clip which should hold the plastic link onto the pivot ball. Next step is to make a shield to keep the elements off the whole mechanism.
