I think that table is supposed to be for S2 only. Certainly both estates in our family have 283 discs.
Look at the relevant PDF on my web page. The data originally came from GSF, and was cross-checked against other sources. But...
not only can parts catalogues give incorrect data, but mistakes get repeated and copied! I got caught by Gates quoting the wrong auxiliary belt (10cm too short - wondered why it wouldn't fit!). Still wrong last time I looked.
