That's a shame about the social calendar next year, Steve. Is Wetherby one of the ones you're working as well?

Glad to hear the C6 is getting the TLC it deserves :)

Like Jim though, it is amazing that the first ones are knocking on the door of 10 years old!!

Unfortunately so David, although plans are afoot to remedy that........ this means me having to take the weekend off, and lose overtime on the Sunday, but it's also dependant on somebody else working to cover the job...... what's worse is I thought I was off but had made an error in my diary so all my dates for next year were screwed up.....fool!

That really is a bugger, Steve!

Fingers crossed you can remedy it. Would be good to see you again!

Took the C6 into the garage this morning for the towbar to fitted and a couple of other jobs and there was a 2.2 in Arctic Silver in there that used to belong to a fellow Northern Section member but now resides in the Blackpool Area, well at least for now.....

Got the C6 Back today after having the towbar fitted, a TPWS fitted, another one re-enabled,13 pin socket to 7 pin socket adaptor and all done at my local dealer, I supplied the TPWS and they fitted it, price including labour and VAT, Oh and C6 Owners discount, just shy of £900.

New EEC legislation means that Citroën on supply 13 pin connectors instead of the double socket type.....

I had the opportunity to purchase some new wheels (Atlantique same as the 3.0 later C6) for the car presented to me last week, so this morning David Hallworth and I set off to collect them, I thought it better to take the Coupé than the C6, and boy did that cause some problems.....

I didn't want to take the C6 figuring that I could drop the back seats in the Coupé and the wheels would fit in there, after much pushing, shoving, cursing and swearing I got them in.

The next part of the plan is to get them washed off tomorrow as they have been in 'storage' for sometime and then organise replacement centre caps before I head up to Scotland to swap the old wheels/tyres and valves with the working ones already on the C6.

At least one of the 'Roccastrada' wheels will be going on the 2.2 to replace the damaged one, the other two or three will be offered for sale, asap

Seeing all the wheels in the back of the Coupe reminded me of a game of Tetris Steve...

Good effort I say... You now join Paul as the champion car packer... What he can fit in the back of a Xantia hatch is stuff of legend but you're right up with him now!

You need to drive it more. The disks are getting rusty, if my eyes aren't playing tricks on me.
