Let's just say that's there could be a 'smidgine' of young Mr Walshe's previous idea's...... though I have to say I wish I was half as good [-o<

Thank you kind sir, She looks brilliant when she catches the sun, it's almost like the paintwork wakes up.

That's the one.

I'm never going to win it for what I can afford to pay for it at the moment! We've got to much else going on at the moment with renovating the place we bought in June so I can't really afford another car!

I'm supposed to be clearing space on the driveway too!

Yes but in the back of your mind there is hope that you can win it and grab a bargain isnt there
Good luck with the ongoing work in your new home, 3 years on and ive nearly finnished mine thankfully but instead of feeling flush again we of course moved on to the next step of having a child to break it all. Clearing space on the drive is always tricky i was clearing space on the drive when i had 3 cars, still clearing but am on the verge of getting a 4th car

I had the car parked on the side of the road last night, nothing unusual about that as SWMBO has comandeered the garage  I parked it the opposite way round to normal and when I fire her up this morning, there was one hell of a rattling sound  I have a feeling that the LDS level is low, so I need to check that in the morning with the Lexia.

I've also noticed that the heater plugs light isn't coming on, I've checked the fuses, so again, another job for Lexia tomorrow, before the cold weather starts

I also noticed at CXM that there are a couple of bubbles in the bonnet, where it looks like the lacquer is starting seperate from the paintwork, after speaking to Vince, who said it could be polished out. I've decided to go the whole hog and get the bonnet resprayed along with the front bumper. Those of you that have seen the car will have noticed that the front bumper is various shades of blue, due to the cheap paint job before I got her.

So looking like it's going to be an expensive month again. #-o #-o #-o

Love your new Avatar Steve 8-)

Have you been promoted?

Seeing as the franchise for the West Coast Main Line has hit a touch of controversy, can we expect to see Gordon the big blue engine pulling trains into Euston any time soon? I'm sure Thomas the Tank and friends could do a good job of it. Not sure I'd like Ringo Starr as the announcer though...

Schoolboy error Steve. The HDi only pre-heats when the brass monkeys are going down with hypothermia. However, what's not realised is they post-heat even when the weather is really quite balmy...

Would this cause a rattling? Does it get worse with the car in high?
