Update!

Its been a while!

Well the Citroen count has fallen, driving home in Marina number 2 I was emailed by my barn landlord giving us all a months notice as he's letting to someone else who's paying more! So 20 plus cars were homeless, the BX 19TZD non turbo which was rough was the first to go as was the BX Athena which had a few niggles and lots of paintwork issues, it was a tough decision, but I still have two BX's and of course the Xantia of my dads.

As you may know Barry from Bourne has packed up and retired so I don't have the luxury of leaving cars with him for months and him fixing them on the cheap when he has spare time, so with that in mind I decided to get rid of the two needing the most work.

I'm still around but admit to be leaning towards BL/Rover stuff more these days, Ive done the Citroen circuit for years and its got a little repetitive….but I will still attend the rallies and of course the 100 years centenary.

So, ex-Shalford Green Gatage Barry finally retires. He did work on our BX19RD, and introduced me to re-gassing.
Tom, a colleague of his, still works for the 'new' SGS, now at Dunsfold aerodrome.
