Re: Hello Again.
It's s bit better but the ride on the bigger rims was still good.
White and cream? No way, the interiors mint to be honest so no point changing, the desire has black leather.

I do prefer your white daily driver Xantia on the Activa wheels, Tim. Looks great!

Re: Hello Again.
Yes she suits them well, and they be getting refurbed very soon too! Although she may be up for sale in the new year as a company car may be in the offering...if that happens I will only sell it to a club member as its FAR FAR too nice to be bought as a cheap banger
The grey/green 19TD SX I bought from Coventry which was a rusty old barge is now non rusty and belongs to Barry at Bourne as the welding and MOT repairs were more than she was worth so he has fixed it and will sell it on!
In other news I have rescued this from a 10 year sleep outside in the cold bless her heart
]
1991 BX 16TGS Athena, not desireable or low mileage but one of 3 left, and it came from the same dealer as our Xantia did and the BX TGD before that and ive been visiting Alan Goodyears yard for 3 years now and the poor thing called to me (its was slowly sinking into the mud), 10 years dormant, a fresh battery, 4 litres of lhm and a gallon of petrol and she runs and drives....and is at Bourne Citroen Centre being fettled, amazingly only the boot floor is gone and will be on the road next year.
and this purely for a laugh as I loved mine when I was a wee lad

11459 miles from new, completely original (down the to the tyres) and £800!

Yes I know....

Re: Hello Again.
Well done on rescuing that BX Tim
Always good to see the more ordinary ones being loved...
I have a soft spot for the Metro. I had five of them over the years...
Two MG Metros (an S1 and and S2), an S2 Turbo Metro, an S2 Vanden Plas Metro and finally a K-series Rover Metro...
Is your VDP an S1 or an S2 Tim? Can't tell from the picture...
Wish I'd never sold the Turbo!
