Briliant!

Thought it was.

Have just emailed the seller that XantiaV6 recommended.

Thanks

Been quoted £200 for one with all 3 cables.

Going to see if I can get them to include an older version of the software if they can.

I took the plunge last night and bought a Lexia.

It's got the 2 pin, 30 pin and the EOBD2 plugs with it, it's the Lexia 3 that does Citroen & Peugeot.

It comes with CD44 but they are giving me a link to download the CD42 software when they send it.

I got it from the seller that someone else had used above and paid £200 for it delivered with all of the cables.

Will add myself to the Lexia list once it's arrived and I've tested it.

My Lexia arrived at 8am yesterday morning.

Seems to work ok :)

What are the benefits of having the older software version?

Mine came with V45 I believe but the seller can give me a link to any version that I want to download.

Did someone say that V45 was the best one to go for?

It was said, that versions newer than v42 need a dealer account?

If you acquire a Wiring Daiagram/Firmware Update DVD, you can't read it with lexia versions after 22. Other functions are unaffected.

I'd like to recalibrate the accelerator pedal to AL4. Where do I find the calibration procedure in Lexia? I found only the initialisation of self-learning parameters.

Does yours presently only go from about 0% to 88% or so?

Yes, from 6% to about 88%, and if I really stuff the pedal into the carpet, I might get 90%. It's quite hard to get the accelerator position to show full throttle at Lexia's automatic transmission parameter monitoring page.

Hmmm.. A friend of mine wants to purchase a lexia (though be it for his pug 307)
I am wondering if anybody can recommend a place to get it?.
I gusss it will be a china copy, but I am looking for a place that ships "inside Europe" (to avoid taxes), and a place that sells the kit with all the appropriate connectors wires etc..

Any ideas?

You won't find it in the Lexia software, its published in the diagnostic manual relevant to the system you are testing. A Lexia on its own is fine for reading fault codes but to fully understand the information shown in datastream you really do need the diagnostic manuals.

:? The training manual refers one back to Lexia!
III - PEDAL PROGRAMMING
This operation is to be performed in the following cases:
· replacement of ECU,
· replacement of automatic transmission,
· updating by downloading,
· replacement or adjustment of accelerator cable,
· replacement of or downloading to engine management computer
(XUD9BTF/XU7JP4/L4),
· replacement of throttle potentiometer,
· replacement of diesel injection pump.
Follow the procedure on the ELIT or PROXIA/LEXIA diagnostic tool to perform a
pedal programming operation.

I've been following these Lexia threads and plan to buy one too. I know it's a hassle but would it be possible for lexia owners to add to a thread the following info: Where brought, contents/connectors/version, price, a summary of what it works on and quality of the vender. It would be useful to me - how about everyone else?
Pug Rifter long (20) - 41mpg - Gutsy for a 1.5!
Xantia 1.9 TD Temp.2 Break (97) - 208K@42mpg - Resting again.
Berlingo Multispace 1.6 16v (51) - 184K@36mpg - My shed! Still runs 15° retarded...
