I seem to remember a silver V reg Xant running along the A377 between Crediton and Exeter a few days ago, could this have been you?

I've had a little bit of a treat today, had a red DS(3) following me out to Copplestone and a J reg BX passed us coming toward Crediton :D

Great to hear she's been so reliable and faithful :D Just how a well maintained Xantia should be!

You're right, they're good :D

I trust the Devonshire holiday was a good one...

Well just collected the new Xantia..

Drove it home about 14 miles, What a difference in the dumper i have been driving. All seems ok, maybe a tad bouncy on the front end, Spheres have 2006 mark on them so probably need changing.
How many spheres are there on a 2000 HDI sx Xantia ?

It's the same colour as my old one. Took it home and got the other half to come for a ride.. Within 1 mile she said "Thats much better " Half the price of the dumper and 20x better and the seat is very comfortable..

I have done something right for a change..Yippee.
I have no pictures yet but as soon as i do i will post them.

Know i have learned a lesson from this, Stick with a Citroen..
Glad to be back, lets hope she will be as reliable as my old one although i wont be using it until i have sold the dumper..

Thanks Xac.
I guessed it would be 6 but thought i would ask advice from more knowledable people than me.

I take it thats the 4 corners and 1 front and 1 back accumalator.

I'm so chuffed i just pray it serves me well..

Yup that's right :)

Apart from early sinkers which have one fewer spheres:
LX/SX = 6
VSX/Exclusive = 8
Activa = 10

Sold the Vectra today so the Xantia is now on the road.

Do you think from the photos that the front end is too high ?
I might be wrong, but after driving the Vectra and now in the smoothness of the Xantia it seems a bit bouncy to me. Perhaps it's just me, Here i go again, paranoia of the Citroen kind..lol

Anyway, i am glad she is on the road at last, need to do a couple of small things to the car but other than that looking forward to enjoying it.
If i need to i will take a couple of more photos tomorrow in the light and see what everyone thinks about the height.

More updates will soon be posted now i am back in the land of Citroen.
Also i shall have to get around to paying some subs towards the forum too. Is it £6 for the year or has it gone up ?

Russ..
